A solid bangle carved from a single continuous piece of natural nephrite, with no metal, no clasp and no join anywhere in the ring. The rounded profile slips on easily, and the hand polish brings up the soft, waxy sheen that untreated stone is known for.

About Pakistani nephrite
Quarried in northern Pakistan, where the mountains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan hold some of the world's finest modern nephrite. The deposits worked around Shangla and the Swat-Kohistan belt yield a dense, fine-grained stone in deep spinach-to-forest greens, still recovered in small quantities and finished largely by hand.
- Toughness. Nephrite's interlocking fibrous structure makes it the most durable of the jades, built for daily wear.
- Luster. That structure takes the soft, almost oily polish collectors look for.
- Type A, guaranteed. No dye, no polymer impregnation, no bleaching. Natural color, cut and polished only.
Each piece is one of a kind, so color and translucency vary slightly from the photos.
