Before the Desert Wakes
There is a particular quality of light in the Gobi just before dawn — pale, clear, and luminous, the sky shifting from cool grey to a soft, pure yellow before the sun crests the dunes. These agates carry that light. This bracelet features natural yellow Gobi Desert agates in their most delicate expression, paired with natural Type A Kazakh jade — a pairing that feels cool, fresh, and quietly radiant.
The Stones
Gobi Desert Agate — Sunrise (Yellow)
Yellow Gobi agates sit at the lightest, most luminous end of the desert's color spectrum. Their pale, clear yellow — ranging from soft lemon to warm straw — comes from trace mineral inclusions within the silica matrix, laid down over millions of years beneath the Mongolian desert floor. Each bead is translucent and naturally patterned, with a gentle glow that catches light without demanding attention. Entirely untreated. No dye, no heat, no enhancement.
Kazakh Jade (Type A Nephrite)
Sourced from the ancient nephrite deposits of Kazakhstan's Altai region, the jade beads offer a cool, deep green counterpoint to the agates' pale clarity. The contrast here is subtle but striking — light and shadow, warmth and cool, desert and mountain. Certified Type A: untreated and unenhanced, straight from the source.

Wearing It
The sunrise palette makes this the most versatile and wearable of our Gobi agate bracelets. Yellow agates are flattering across skin tones and pair beautifully with gold, silver, and white metals alike. Wear it alone for a clean, understated look, or layer it with our deeper orange and green agate bracelets for a full Gobi Desert color story on the wrist.
Care
- Remove before swimming, bathing, or heavy exercise to preserve the stretch cord
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth
- Store flat or loosely coiled — avoid hanging, which can stress the cord over time
- Natural stones may have minor surface variations; these are not flaws — they are proof of origin

Know Your Stone
What is Type A jade?
TypeA jade is natural, untreated stone — no bleaching, no polymer filling, no dye. It's the collector standard and the only grade we carry at JADEscape.Provenance documentation is available on request.
What is the difference between jadeite and nephrite?
Both are true jade, but different minerals.Jadeite is rarer, harder, and found in vivid colors including ImperialGreen.Nephrite is tougher with a silky texture, ranging from creamy white to deep forest green. We carry both.
What is Imperial Green jade?
ImperialGreen is the most prized color grade in jadeite — a vivid, evenly saturated green produced by trace chromium in the stone's crystal structure.TrueImperialGreen is highly translucent, with a depth of color that seems to glow from within.AtJADEscape, when we carry ImperialGreen material, it is always TypeA — natural and untreated.
How do I care for my jade piece?
Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap.Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, harsh chemicals, and prolonged sun exposure.Store separately to prevent scratching. With proper care,Type A jade lasts generations.
Do you provide certificates of authenticity?
At JADEscape, we source directly from the mines and the carvers themselves — our provenance comes from the relationship, not a certificate. The jade certification industry is largely unregulated and most commonly used by resellers. We can tell you exactly where a piece came from, who carved it, and what makes it genuine — because we were there.
