Three Greens, Three Traditions
Green is the color of jade — but not all jade greens are the same. This bracelet brings three of them together: the cool blue-green of Guatemalan jadeite, the near-opaque depth of black Guatemalan jadeite, and the rich, darker green of Hetian jade from China's Xinjiang province. Three distinct expressions of the same color family, from two of the world's most significant jade sources. A bracelet that is entirely green — and entirely varied.
The Stones
Guatemalan Jadeite — Blue Round Beads
Blue jadeite from Guatemala — sometimes called "Olmec Blue" — sits at the cool, blue-green end of the jadeite spectrum. Dense, vitreous, and deeply colored, with the characteristic glassy luster of fine jadeite. Its blue-green tone is the lightest and most chromatic element in this bracelet's palette. Natural and untreated.
Guatemalan Jadeite — Black Discs
Black jadeite from the same Guatemalan deposits is the bracelet's darkest element — near-opaque, with a depth that comes from graphite or iron inclusions within the jadeite matrix. Cut into disc form, these pieces are wider and flatter than the round beads around them, introducing a bold graphic rhythm and catching light across a broader face. Natural and untreated.
Hetian Jade — Dark Green (Nephrite)
Hetian jade from Xinjiang, China is most commonly associated with its pale, creamy expressions — but darker green Hetian nephrite exists, and it is striking. Richer and more saturated than the typical Hetian white or grey-green, this darker variety carries a deep, mossy green that bridges the blue-green of the Guatemalan jadeite and the near-black of the discs. Smooth, dense, and carrying the same 7,000-year heritage of Chinese jade tradition. Natural and untreated.

Wearing It
This is a fully green bracelet — but one that moves through the full range of what green can mean in jade. The blue-green rounds, the dark mossy Hetian beads, and the near-black discs create a tonal composition that is rich without being monochromatic. It pairs naturally with gold and warm metals, and wears beautifully alongside other jade pieces or alone as a collector's statement. For those who know jade, the darker Hetian green is the detail that makes this bracelet genuinely unusual.
Care
- Remove before swimming, bathing, or heavy exercise to preserve the stretch cord
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth
- Store flat or loosely coiled — avoid hanging, which can stress the cord over time
- Natural stones may have minor surface variations; these are not flaws — they are proof of origin

What is Imperial Green jade?
ImperialGreen is the most prized color grade in jadeite — a vivid, evenly saturated green produced by trace chromium in the stone's crystal structure.TrueImperialGreen is highly translucent, with a depth of color that seems to glow from within.AtJADEscape, when we carry ImperialGreen material, it is always TypeA — natural and untreated.
