This square-edge bangle is carved from Type A, natural untreated Guatemalan jadeite jade. Its Celestial Blue color, often referred to as “water blue jade,” is one of the most underrated in Guatemalan jade. This stone’s muted grey-green cast and individual pattern give it a distinctive look. The bangle has limited translucency and no cracks.
Guatemalan jade, Mexican craftsmanship
Guatemala is a source of jadeite known for its range of naturally occurring colors, including the understated tones of Celestial Blue. Artisans at one of our partner workshops in Mexico carved the Guatemalan stone into this bangle, allowing its individual natural markings to show.

ImperialGreen is the most prized color grade in jadeite — a vivid, evenly saturated green produced by trace chromium in the stone's crystal structure.TrueImperialGreen is highly translucent,with a depth of color that seems to glow from within.AtJADEscape, when we carry ImperialGreen material, it is always TypeA — natural and untreated.
How do I care for my jade piece?
Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap.Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, harsh chemicals, and prolonged sun exposure.Store separately to prevent scratching.With proper care,Type A jade lasts generations.
