This 58 mm square-edge bangle is carved from Type A, natural untreated Guatemalan jadeite jade. Its Celestial Blue color, often called “water blue jade,” is one of the most underrated colors of Guatemalan jade. Here it appears in muted grey-green tones with natural patterning unique to this piece. The jade has limited translucency and no cracks.

Guatemala is a source of jadeite known for a naturally varied palette, including understated blue tones. Artisans at one of our partner workshops in Mexico carved this Guatemalan jade into a polished bangle, allowing its individual markings to remain the focus.
